-- My Facebook, The Art of Justin Weinmann I don't have a membership thingie so I can't give you the official critique ha ha but I've got to say this piece is very pretty. I'm not sure if that's what you were aiming for, but oh well.
The lines I find them to be choppy. As if the character is dispersing off the page. I see this mostly in it's feet and tail. It's also rather confusing, the way that it's laid out. Details over lapping other details, such as the tentacles over the legs. Since his entire body body is spindly, it gets trapped in the tentacles of the squid thing. It's hard to see and to thus understand. Although, the entire piece molds perfectly together seamlessly as though these two subjects are one. Not to mention the fact that you drew this in pen astonishes me. But I expect that of you really. So that's my un-official critique -- Don't Think So Much♥ lol, thanks for critiquing though not allowed. Yeah it is all confusing. Most of my stuff i think runs along those lines because everything evolves into something else that I didnt initially start with... I find myself confused by own stuff after I restumble upon them years later too lol.
-- My Facebook, The Art of Justin Weinmann you mean off balance as in centered? if so... no I didn't plan that. All my work winds up that way, normal I crop it though, which I didnt this time. I suck at drawing where the drawing needs to be. lol
If not that... how do you mean? thanks -- My Facebook, The Art of Justin Weinmann |

Because i cannot see the feet i am not sure if the squid handeler is walking or floating. The angle of the body makes it look as tho it is floating.
I like this a lot. I really cannot think of anything that needs improved in this. You have a lot of skill with a pen
